The Z5 5-25x52 BT Riflescope (Matte Black) from Swarovski Optik is a superior sighting system with outstanding optics and mechanics. Configured into a trim 1.0" main-tube with a field of view of 219 feet at 1000 yards, crisp edge-to-edge sharpness, and rugged field-ready construction - the Z5 5-25x52 BT is well suited for both everyday hunting and world-class safaris.

This Z5 5-25x52 BT is delivered with Swarovski's Ballistic Turret and access to their ballistic program software. Customized to the riflescope, the software assists in the determination of the desired correction values necessary for sight-in distances.

The entire scope is waterproof to 13 feet and fogproof thanks to their nitrogen-purging process. The windage / elevation turrets and the 3rd parallax turret offer ¼ MOA click-stop corrections while the rectangular adjustment range provides a very respectable 43 MOA of elevation correction. The lenses have full SWAROTOP multicoating to optimize light transmission, and the external lens surfaces have been treated with a scratch-resistant SWARODUR protective coating. This Z5's 1.0" aluminum-alloy main-tube is ornamented with side focus parallax correction, a matte black finish, and a 4w reticle in the second focal plane.

A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.
